Whilst we have done our best to remove any shot or pellets from the game it is possible that some might remain in the bowl. Our dogs as a rule just leave the pellets behind. All the shot is non-toxic, so if ingested will pass through the dog in its poo.
Prior to serving we sometimes add in warm water to the bowl to warm up the dog meal.
